About this event
The morning begins with a probhat feri procession, barefoot, flowers in hand, to our community Shaheed Minar. We remember Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar, and all who gave their lives for the Bangla language in 1952.
The program continues with Bangla poetry recitation by children, a calligraphy corner where kids write their first Bangla letters, and a discussion on keeping Bangla alive in our American-born generation.
